The Conscious Collective Creating Healthy and Organic Change & 33 Of Their Stunning Outdoor Images and Quotes To Inspire Us All Onto Greater Adventures
Below, you will find 33 incredibly awesome quotes and images that will inspire you to adventure beyond the world of technology and the internet and get outside to enjoy the great outdoors! Why is this so especially important in this day?
This may sound weird to some, but I did not grow up with TV though I did watch it occasionally when at friend's and relative's houses. My parents were avidly against it so my siblings and I spent most of our childhood playing outside. It took me a while to really understand my parents reasoning but I fully do now and I have profusely thanked them for it. With the incredible advancements in technology and artificial intelligence evolving faster than many of us are, we all need to be even more vigilant today. Maintaining a healthy balance and mindset is becoming increasingly more important:
Here are some sobering statistics:
• 84% of cell phone users claim they could not go a single day without their device. (source)
• 67% of cell phone owners check their phone for messages, alerts, or calls — even when they don’t notice their phone ringing or vibrating. (source)
• Studies indicate some mobile device owners check their devices every 6.5 minutes. (source)
• 88% of U.S. consumers use mobile devices as a second screen even while watching television. (source)
• Almost half of cell owners have slept with their phone next to their bed because they wanted to make sure they didn’t miss any calls. (source)
• Traditional TV viewing eats up over six days (144 hours, 54 minutes) worth of time per month. (source)
• Some researchers have begun labeling “cell phone checking” as the new yawn because of its contagious nature. (source)
Thankfully, there are a multitude of individuals and collectives currently concentrating elsewhere - they are focused on keeping our planet healthy and truly BEING THE CHANGE. Empowered from the inside out, these amazingly awesome change-makers are truly changing things for the better, not just talking about in online. Their priorities involve nature, health, genuine service to others, and the joy of outdoor adventure.
And Conscious Adventurist is one of them. They are a global, organic collective of passionate and progressive individuals doing their part to mindfully connect with the planet, while also allowing their adventurous spirits to thrive. Through education, partnerships, and inspiration, their focus lies within helping others to synergize their desire to fully experience and connect with Planet Earth while maintaining an ethical obligation to simultaneously protect and support it in all its beauty and splendor. As an an eco-conscious and vegan organization, they strive to give back as much as possible. (source)
How awesome is that!
It's super awesome because despite popular opinion, positive change does not require pointing fingers and talking smack about others - no matter how well known the person is, how seemingly justified it may be, and how much others support you in doing it. Reflect back to the time of the gladiators where huge crowds cheered the horrific violence on. While we may not support full on gladiator rings today, the attitude that fostered their popularity is still prevalent in this world. And mob mentality seems to grow even faster online. If you believe you are helping the world by throwing around superficial lingo and blaming others, or you're one of the ones cheering it on, be assured that you are in the grips of maya (delusion) and being led by your own self-distorted ego rather than Divine Will. Gossip is gossip and it's not healthy to engage in.
Rather than a distorted ego stuck in reaction mode - which too often results in misplaced feelings of self-importance, we can choose to be truly compassionate, balanced, and driven by an authentic desire to improve the world. When this state of being becomes real for us as an actual experience - and not just something we are intellectually regurgitating, we naturally ascend out of the need to prove ourselves and blame others. Especially when we do not personally know them or if what is being said about them is true in the first place. Always put yourselves in others shoes! Just because someone is "movie star" or "powerful political or religious figure", does not give us free passes to hurl insults and demand their demise. People are throwing a lot of stones not realizing that those stones will boomerang back to them when they least expect it. This is why "challenging hardships" often come and confound "good people" and vice versa. It is the effect of a cause put into motion at some point in time, in some life for that particular soul.
Some people create their own storms then blame others when it rains.
We can all gain a tremendous amount of understanding by familiarizing ourselves with the Principles of Reincarnation (and Science of Karma) and forgiveness. We don't want to get caught in the trap of holding others back who are truly trying to change for the better and redeem themselves.
Nor do we want to allow ourselves to be manipulated or trapped by our own self created distortions! And the below quotes and images are meant to inspire and uplift you into greater visions for all ~ please enjoy....

“When I say it's you I like, I'm talking about that part of you that knows that life is far more than anything you can ever see or hear or touch. That deep part of you that allows you to stand for those things without which humankind cannot survive. Love that conquers hate, peace that rises triumphant over war, and justice that proves more powerful than greed.”
~ Fred Rogers (Mr. Rogers)
“Before we invented civilization our ancestors lived mainly in the open out under the sky. Before we devised artificial lights and atmospheric pollution and modern forms of nocturnal entertainment we watched the stars. There were practical calendar reasons of course but there was more to it than that. Even today the most jaded city dweller can be unexpectedly moved upon encountering a clear night sky studded with thousands of twinkling stars. When it happens to me after all these years it still takes my breath away.”

"Wandering is the activity of the child, the passion of the genius; it is the discovery of the self, the discovery of the outside world, and the learning of how the self is both "at one with" and "separate from" the outside world. These discoveries are as fundamental to the soul as "learning to survive" is fundamental to the body. These discoveries are essential to realizing what it means to be human. To wander is to be alive."

At least for most of the questions in my heart
Like why are we here?
And where do we go?
And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy and
Sometimes life can be deceiving
I'll tell you one thing
It's always better when we're together"
